OEM supply of paper edge protectors covers three levels of customisation: a size that does not exist in any catalogue, a print with your brand or item code, and a packing format that matches your line. Only the second needs tooling, and the first is often the one that saves the most money.

Three levels of customisation
Size is free on a plain profile: leg A, leg B, wall, length and angle are made to order without a die. This is where most of the value is, because a size that fits the pack removes the waste of trimming a stock board.
Print needs a plate, charged once, and supports one or two colours. Packing is the third level and is often overlooked: bundle counts, labels, dispenser cartons and pallet patterns can all be set to match how the buyer uses the product.
Private label without overstating
We can print your brand, your item code and a handling instruction. We do not print certification marks we do not hold, and we do not print origin claims that are not true. If a customer asks for a mark we cannot substantiate, we will say so before the plate is made.
For a distributor, the practical package is a printed bundle label plus a printed board edge carrying the item code, which lets the end user reorder without a catalogue lookup.
From enquiry to first shipment
Send the drawing or the four dimensions, the print artwork if any, the pack format you want, the quantity and the destination port. A plain custom size can be sampled in 3-5 working days; a printed board adds the plate lead time; production runs 7-15 working days after approval.
The first order is usually a trial quantity against your pack, then a container. That sequence costs a few weeks and prevents a container of a size that almost fits.
Questions buyers ask before ordering
Do I need a die for a custom size?
No. Only slots, notches and latch patterns need a die.
Can you print our logo?
Yes, one or two colours, with a plate charged once per design.
Will you print a certification mark?
Only marks we can substantiate. We will tell you before the plate is made if a request cannot be supported.
Can the bundle label carry our brand?
Yes, and that is usually the cheapest form of private label.
What is the OEM minimum?
3,000 meters per size, plus the plate charge where print is required.
